ZiHan Lin, Managing Director
ZiHan has spent the last dozen years in the medical device industry in operational capacities across engineering, marketing, sales management and business development. He is currently also a healthcare investor and venture partner to several VC funds focused on life sciences. In his latest operational role, he led the Greater China and South Korea businesses for Masimo Corporation, where he built the local teams and set up new offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Seoul. Prior to Masimo, ZiHan worked for Uptake Medical, a venture-backed medtech startup focused on emphysema patients, where he led strategic marketing efforts. In his engineering days, he worked for Cirtec Medical Systems in the Bay Area and contributed to numerous projects for St. Jude Medical, J&J Ethicon EndoSurgery, Covidien and a number of cardiovascular and laparoscopic device startups. ZiHan earned his MS in Mechanical Engineering and BS in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and subsequently obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Nisha Bhalla, Advisor
Nisha is Head of Business Development for ReFocus Eye Health, a leading management services organization that is building a patient-centric eye health platform in northeastern U.S. ReFocus is a fully owned portfolio company of Zenyth Partners, a healthcare-focused and growth-oriented private equity firm based in New York. After graduating from New York University's Stern School of Business, Nisha started her career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and pivoted to the healthcare space when she joined an operations team at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She's spent significant time in various healthcare systems across the country and had the privilege of working at CVS Health where she focused on investment activity in the Specialty Pharmacy space. Additionally, Nisha obtained her MBA from Harvard Business School and is currently on the Board of The Coder School, an organization focused on providing futuristic tech skills to students of all ages.
